Relational Realities - Becoming the poem

What does this mean? Here I share some brief reflections about ancient philosophical reflections that have been inspiring me.

Ancient philosophical texts speak about remembering or recalling our original face, image, song and or poem that we are born with. They say, that is who we really are. Beyond our cultural influences to shape us, beyond the ways we belong to the society, that is, they say, what we have to search for.

For quite a while, I couldn´t grasp the idea of remembering the original poem or shape of myself. It wasn´t clear to me what this eluded to exactly. In fact, it caused me a kind of confusion.

I had been accustomed to the oriental philosophical approach or map of the psyche…they ,in the east, speak about finding our true nature, and or our true inner self. So, the idea of an original shape that I had to find, I could not quite figure out. “What does this actually look like?”, I thought to myself.

But then, as I have been able through study, experience and contemplation, if we peer through the looking glass of a poetic and or mythopoetic lens of life and ourselves, then it begins to make sense of what this means.

Elaborating now, even more deeply, this idea is about finding our shape and our unique place. It is directly correlated to the search for the true nature…In fact, it is about the form of that nature, the shape of the whispers from the beauty of our Souls, that emerges from that nature. We are in our essence poetically a unique form, a unique presence.

We are a poem.

…And this reference to the shape of us, is a way of explaining who we are in the depths, who we were in our essence before we were born and who we will be after we die. I understand now that this is a place inside of us. A place that holds our nearest and dearest qualities.

Our unique qualities, our unique charismas, the unique conglomeration of who we are. The flavour, so to speak of our presence and how we embody ourselves in our differing ways in life.

This invitation is all about honoring so deeply the presence of who we are in our essence.

The objective then, in our lives, that we have been gifted, is to make a voyage and allow this unique expression of ourselves to emerge and become embodied fully.

Becoming the poem, we have always longed to become. Becoming the most authentic version of ourselves, ultimately embodying what we most love about ourselves, in the light, in the darkness and bringing this in life itself.

Ultimately, finding that sweet spot of our Soul´s calling and what brings us alive in conjunction with what the world and the Earth longs and needs from us, so it can to thrive and blossom.
