Relational Realities - Becoming the poem
What does this mean? Here I share some brief reflections about ancient philosophical reflections that have been inspiring me.
Nearly all the philosophical schools speak about a remembering process. They say that we are here to remember our original face, image, shape, song and or poem that we are born with and they say, that´s who we really are. Beyond what our culture has done to shape us, beyond the ways we belong to the society.
For quite a while, I could understand about the remembering process, this seemed simple enough. Although, I couldn´t grasp the idea of remembering the original poem or shape. It wasn´t clear to me what this eluded to exactly. In fact, it caused me a kind of confusion.
I had been accustomed to the oriental philosophical approach or map of the psyche…they in the east, speak about finding our true nature, and or our true inner self. So, the idea of an original shape that I had to find, I could not quite figure out.
But, as I have learned, if we peer through the looking glass of a poetic and or mythopoetic lens of life, and ourselves, then, it begins to make sense of what the ancients were speaking about.
Elaborating now about this idea in a deeper sense, it is about finding our unique shape and our unique place. It is directly correlated to the search for the true nature…In fact, it is about the form of that nature, the shape of the whispers from the beauty of our Souls. It is poetically a form, our special presence, is a poem. In a widened sense of wholeness.
I was beginning to understand.
…And this reference to our shape, is a way of explaining who we are in the depths, who we were in our essence before we were born and who we will be after we die. I understood that this to be a place inside of us. A place that holds our nearest and dearest qualities.
Our unique qualities, our unique charismas, our unique conglomeration of who we are. The flavour, so to speak of our presence and how we embody ourselves in our differing ways in life.
This ancient invitation is all about honoring the presence of who we are in our essence, to remember who we are in our Souls.
The invitation we have been given then, is to make a voyage and allow this unique expression of ourselves to emerge and become embodied fully.
Becoming the poem, we have always longed to become. Becoming the most authentic version of ourselves, ultimately embodying what we most love about ourselves, in the light, in the darkness and bringing this in life itself.
Ultimately, finding the sweet spot of our Soul´s calling and what brings us alive and what the world and the Earth longs and needs from us, so it can to thrive and blossom.
