Sarah Owl

Throughout my life, I have been called by a deep, soulful curiosity—drawn to the timeless questions: Who am I?and Why am I here? This inquiry has led me on a lifelong path of dedication to the journey of self-evolution and the relationship to Mystery, truth and the greater web of life.
I consider myself a devotional romantic and a grounded realist, captivated by the deeper currents of existence. My relationship with the wild and the sacred began over three decades ago, in the Himalayan mountains of India. Since then, I have immersed myself in the study and teaching of oriental philosophical traditions, Today, I weave these teachings in with with a nature-based, Soulcentric (Eco-Depth Psychology) understanding and worldview.
Originally from the United Kingdom, my journey has taken me across continents—I have lived and worked in India, the United States, South America, and Spain. For twenty-six years, I directed the New Future Society, an organization dedicated to the teaching and training of spiritual and wellbeing practices. Through global initiatives, courses and retreats our work reached communities in over twenty countries.
Now rooted once again in the United Kingdom, I thrive on the beauty and complexity of life, I am deeply moved by the intensity and potential of our times—and by the necessity I feel of coming together in co creatively, to create the future we are dreaming about for our loved ones, the wild ones and the Earth at large.
I consider each experience and person that comes into my life, worth cherishing and honoring. I invite you to drink deeply from this path of self-exploration and soul-evolution with me. Welcome to the sanctuary.

What is Eco Soulcentric Mentoring?
It is a mentoring based on a fusion of my life´s work, primarily as a teacher of oriental esoteric philosophies and meditation, now fused with depth psychology and nature based understanding of the psyche. The aim I have is to share techniques and tools with you, so that you can develop and become deeply connected with your inner world as a primary guide in your life. Soulcentric meaning orientated around the Soul as the primary source of wisdom.
How many sessions will I need?
What do you feel you would like? Perhaps scheduling a free discovery call we can explore together what it is that you would like to achieve by working with me.
Do I need to have prior experience with meditation and or the path of self development before I participate in with you?
Absolutely not! I am always so deeply happy to begin at the place where you find yourself. Besides, I am convinced that each of us has innate wisdom. My role is to allow it to emerge from within you.
What does you mean by Wild?
This refers to the part of us and in the world that is entirely free and natural. The Earth in its most primordial state is wild. For us humans, I define it as the antithesis of being domesticated. By becoming Wild, we become free like the wind, in touch with our instinct and full of all the rhythms of nature. We flow, we express and we emerge in a greater authenticity. We become the Sun, the Moon, the storm, the rain.
What does the term Mythopoetics mean?
Originally, this word comes from the Greek word muthopoiía, which means "myth-making". For me, it refers to the essential shape of the nature of our Soul. This place of poetry, the song of the original instructions we born with. I believe that in our essence we are poetry, unique, beautiful, complex. And secondly that we are living inside of a story, a myth if you will.
What is Mystic Eros?
In the ancient traditions, especially in the creation stories from India, they say that the physical reality came into being from (in Sanskrit) Sat Chit Ananda, from existence, consciousness and bliss. They say that we are living in an ocean of Bliss and that this ocean is made of love. Mystic Eros is the name I have given to contemplate the loving, the romance, the courting, the devotional side of our nature. Here too we create a relationship with pleasure as a fundamental facet of our wellbeing.
What is Eco Depth Psychology?
The specific Eco Depth Psychology that my work is based on comes from the Animas Valley Institute, founded by Bill Plotkin. He is one of my primary inspirations. Depth psychology is the field of study that explores how the unconscious aspects of the human experience influence psychological patterns. Eco depth psychology is an approach that explores the direct interconnection between the human psyche and the natural world.
What is Primordial Dreaming?
For me, the world of dreams is one of the most intimate ways that we receive messages from the Great Mystery. Our ancestors would gather each morning and share their dreams as a way of understanding themselves and their lives. When we go back to the Primordial Dream, we are connecting with the essential symbolic nature inherent in all that is. Dreams being one way for us to experience our essential nature.
